Healthy Microwave Potato Chips


Are you a fan of chips? If so, you NEED to try these Healthy Microwave Potato Chips! So easy and quick to make, plus it's so much healthier than your store bought version. These chips are crunchy, salty and taste like they're kettle cooked. You definitely need to try them! .... Go, now. Your life will be changed forever. 



First, you'll thinly slice up one cup of mini yellow potatoes. Next, you'll toss them in a bowl with half a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. 



Cover a microwaveable plate with parchment paper and spread out chips. Microwave on high for 6 minutes. Keep adding 1 minute and check chips until they brown. Be careful: they can easily burn! If you make a smaller batch, start off at 4 minutes and keep adding 1 minute until they brown. 


Let cool for a few minutes. This will allow them to crisp up. Once cooled, enjoy! ... Like I said, your life will be changed forever. 

Healthy Microwave Potato Chips
Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

1 cup Thinly sliced mini yellow potatoes
1/2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt to taste

Instructions:
  1. Combine all ingredients in bowl.
  2. Line a microwaveable plate with parchment paper. Spread out chips onto plate.
  3.  Microwave on high for 6 minutes. Keep microwaving in 1 minute intervals until chips are browned. Note: keep an eye out on the chips cause they can easily burn. If you make a smaller batch, microwave for 4 minutes and keep adding 1 minute until they brown. 
  4. Let cool for a few minutes (this will make them crispy!) and serve. 
Makes 1 serving. Each serving is approximately 100 calories.
