Fresh Homemade Salsa


Skip your typical store bought salsa! This Fresh Homemade Salsa recipe is extremely easy to make and tastes great with chips, on a toasted baguette or as a garnish, adding a fresh kick to your meals.



In a bowl, combine one cup of finely chopped tomatoes, half a cup of diced red onions, a diced clove of garlic, one tablespoon of finely chopped cilantro, one teaspoon of diced jalapeno peppers and the juice of a quarter of a lime. Add salt and pepper to taste and voila! Quick and delicious salsa!


Fresh Homemade Salsa
Makes one cup of salsa

Ingredients:

1 cup Tomatoes, finely chopped
½ cup Red onion, finely chopped
1 Garlic clove, diced
1 tbsp Cilantro, finely chopped
1 tsp Jalapeno peppers, diced
¼ Lime, juiced
Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Serve as is or refrigerate for a few hours to set.

Entire recipe is approximately 50 calories.
